ANALYST/ASSOCIATE - FIXED INCOME
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Fixed Income / Credit Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting credit and financial analysis, assisting management in making investment decisions and portfolio management with a focus on fixed income products.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform analysis on and monitor credit quality of issuers, and conduct in-depth research and analysis covering company fundamentals, macroeconomic factors and industry trends etc.;
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of the fixed income investment market and a different range of fixed income securities such as Government and corporate bonds and other debt instruments;
• Assist in developing and implementing fixed income investment strategies in alignment with the house strategy and risk appetite;
• Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and developments that may impact fixed income investments, and provide timely insights and recommendations to senior management;
• Develop and enhance analysis tools to support investment recommendation;
• Assist in preparing regular reports on investment portfolio; and
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above, with a solid understanding of economics and finance and basic frameworks for accounting and company research;
• At least 5 years of experience in fixed income credit analyst, or investment banking, family offices or relevant financial institutions with a focus on fixed income investment products;
• Candidates with experience in credit rating agency are preferred;
• In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, including different types of fixed income securities, credit risk management and analysis, interest rate risk management, and relevant regulatory framework;
• Candidates with CFA, CPA and FRM qualification would be advantages; and
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
ANALYST/ASSOCIATE – ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled associate in alternative investment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting evaluation on alternative assets to assist management in making investment decisions and portfolio management with a focus on alternative assets.
Main Responsibilities
• Assist in the evaluation of potential investment in multi asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity funds and direct investment;• Conducting in-depth industry and company research, including financial modelling, market analysis, and competitive assessments on direct investments;
• Prepare database for monitoring fund investment, including commitment, invested capital, fund expenses, distribution and return etc., and assist in preparing cash flow forecast;
• Monitoring the performance and preparing regular reports on various alternative assets;
• Assist with investment related administration; and
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above, with a solid understanding of economics and finance and basic frameworks for accounting and company research;• At least 3 years of experience in financial sector with a focus on alternative assets;
• Candidates with CFA, CPA and FRM qualification would be advantages; and
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
INVESTMENT DATA ANALYST
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled investment data analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and verification of asset and reference data to support management in making investment decisions.
Main Responsibilities
• Collaborate with investment team to identify relevant internal or external data sources or datasets for specific objectives;• Development suitable solutions such as dashboards or statistical models to address objectives;
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights supporting investment strategies;
• Maintain a comprehensive data inventory to meet data-related needs effectively;
• Assist in portfolio management, including operational activities, performance and risk analysis; and
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics or Engineering;• At least 4 years of experience as data analyst, with practical experience using common analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook, NoSQL databases, and Tableau etc.;
• Candidates with experience utilizing web-scraped data are highly preferable;
• Advanced knowledge in probability and statistics and solid understanding in economics and finance; and
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
